How to check your oil level

Every car has the same dipstick that will tell you how much oil to put into the engine. Every dipstick has a yellow handle or is marked in yellow text 'Engine Oil'. You can only check the level of the oil when engine is off. Car must be not running. When you pull out the dipstick, the oil level should hit somewhere in between the two marked points on the dipstick. If you pull out the dipstick, and the oil levels hit below the first marked point, then you need to add oil. If you pull out the dipstick, and the oil levels hit above the second marked point, then you have too much oil in your engine.
